'Tasted blind in a tough 1995 horizontal, this Cantemerle embarrassed some of the 'big names.' Not much on the nose. Some green pepper and under ripeness. Quite rich and tannic on the palate though with a touch of chocolate. Moderate acidity, quite masculine and muscular towards the finish. Needs time but good potential.'
