'The 2018 Meursault Village includes some barrels of the Clos de la Baron that is not part of the blend (my sample is prepared as it will be bottled). It has a well-defined bouquet of light oyster shell and crustacean scents, focused if not the most intense of Dominique Lafon’s 2018s. The palate is pure on the entry with a lightly honeyed texture and a fine bead of acidity. Very harmonious, revealing traces of white peach and orange pith mixed with walnut toward the finish. Very fine.'
