'Bright red with ruby highlights. Highly nuanced, expressive nose offers cherry, raspberry, smoke and complex earth tones. Supple without being at all weighty, with the slightly tart-edged red berry flavors displaying a lovely balance of sweetness and energy. Most impressive today on the long, spicy, vibrant finish, where a strong element of saline minerality stimulates the salivary glands. At this point in our tasting, Régis Forey emphasized that '2014 is more Burgundian than 2015, more my style.' This wine needs time in bottle to harmonize but should improve for 15 years or more.'
