'The 2009 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers caresses the palate with layers of dark red fruit, white flowers, spices, and licorice. It is a typical 2009 long on sensuality, richness and sheer depth. All the element build gracefully to the rich, effortless finish. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024.
Remoissenet´s 2009 reds from bottle showed beautifully the two times I tasted them. The sweet spot is in the top premier crus, the best of which approach the level of the grand crus, but at friendlier prices.'
