'The 2015 Halenberg Riesling GG opens with a dark, smoky and very stony bouquet with some yeasty flavors. It is clear, piquant, very racy, pure and lean rather than rich. It is a picture book Schäfer-Fröhlich Riesling as well as a great Halenberg. The 2015 has so much finesse, elegance and purity but is also generous in its fruit combined with impressive length and clarity. This is a wine like glacier water and couldn't be more clear.'
