'Styrian Chardonnay is called Morillon and has a long tradition. Tement is one of the outstanding producers and although the Sulz is not the greatest Chardonnay of the family domaine, it is still excellent and at this price, it is a Best Buy. Grown on chalky marl soils and aged for 12 months in large and smaller oak vessels, the 2013 Morillon Sulz displays a clear and aromatic, very pure and refined nose with smoky aromas (smoked bacon). Full-bodied, fresh and round, very intense and salty, the 2013 is pretty piquant and lemon-fresh in the very elegant finish that reveals a remarkable purity and minerality. There are lemon and white peach flavors in the aftertaste. This wine needs another year, but should age for at least ten years.'

'Geschlossene, warme Kessellage mit Süd-Südwestausrichtung. Hier fühlen sich unsere Burgundersorten besonders wohl. Tiefgründige, lehmige Opok-Kalkmergelböden. Der höchste Teil liegt auf 490m Seehöhe und lässt besonders saftige, finessenreiche Weine mit langem Reifepotential entstehen.'
